Computers track path of the ball in real time and reconstruct the play. system sends a signal to the referees through their watches when finds that the ball has crossed the goal line. Electronic eyes the goal line may settle arguments, but the data is still a reconstruction of reality. GoalControl claims an accuracy of plus or five millimeters.
